This is a good website to find out details and learn about safety concerns.  We will be meeting at the San Diego airport and cross the border and head straight to our spot in Baja. We will spend time helping build a house for a family and helping at an orphanage while we are there.  

Over the past 8 years of taking groups to Mexico, we have always felt safe, as where we stay and serve are in rural parts of Mexico focused on agriculture and wine tourism.  Our base camp, Rancho Sordo Mundo, is surrounded by multi-million dollar wineries that have graced the cover of Sunset Magazine.  We are thankful to get to take kids to such a beautiful part of Baja!

WHEN: June 17-June 22, 2024

Departure: Monday, June 17, 2024; 8:30am (After we meet up we will drive in cars to the San Diego Airport to meet up with the rest of the camp group).

Return: Saturday, June 22, 2024; 6pm

COST: $800, a deposit of $100 is required to hold your spot. ***All money paid will be tax deductible as a donation to Young Life since this is a serving/missions trip.  All money paid by parents/family or any donations raised will be a tax-deduction!

 (We have fundraisers and camp scholarships to help with financial need. We will help you raise the money to get to camp! We will raise money as a camp group to meet the financial needs.  You can ask family and friends to donate, and if you have connections to business or churches that want to give to our trip please ask them to partner with us for this particular type of Young Life camp).

*Save $50 if registered with $100 deposit and a fully completed online health form by February 28, 2024.

**Sibling Discount: save $100 off camp for each sibling; first child pays full cost (can apply to different camps with different age siblings).

*Signups for this scheduled camp are regulated by the local area in Temecula, CA. Signups are not open to the public and are based on connection to students or leaders in the area.  Southside 79 Young Life will use discretion and will make final decision if camp is appropriate for desired camper.
